1st non-test post of the blog! Hooray!
So this week was super-awesome. Let's start with yesterday:
- Got all my college classes, except one, despite procrastinating to the last possible second. (Good news about the one I couldn't get into though).
- Got my ten minute grimp trophy in Eden after Grif had to one up me and do it first. (I'm still totally beating him in trophies).
Alrighty, as I mentioned I got all the classes I wanted this semester which were: Psychology, Sociology (Ah geez, I hope I spelled that right), and my math evaluation scheduled. I got put on a waiting list for English: Creative Non-Fiction writing, but! The professor (or future professor) called me this morning and said he could put me in his second year Creative Non-Fiction class... So now I'm doing a second year course, instead of waiting for the first year one! I may be a nerd, but I still think it's dandy.
Other things to happen today? Warhawk update came out. I never played Warhawk 'that' much, but the trophy system and a lot of the new features that came with the 1.5 patch are splendid. Grif and I played for a couple of hours and I can't help but want to play more. I was messing around with the custom playlist feature the patch brings, but for some reason any music I shove in just seems so out of place when put up against the epic orchestral music the game is packaged with. The addition of jetpacks in the new add-on really entices me... I may have to look into this.
I'm slowly getting better at Super-Stardust, this may be for a few reasons. Super-Stardust seems like the type of game you really need to get a 'feel' for, where survivability is only assured through muscle memory. Though recently a cute girl has been distracting me while playing, which may allow me to 'forget' to make some stupid moves I would normally do. I can only hope that her own distractions lead to an instance wipe for her party.
Soooo, I couldn't get into any of the Computer Science courses I wanted this semester. In the end, I wasn't able to schedule and complete my math evaluation in time... Next year will be computer heavy, I suppose; however, since Journalism is something I'm wanting to explore more, this semester might be great.
Oh yeah, full cleared Professor Layton and the Curious Village last week... The World Ends With You soon to come. I love them both.
Don't forget the butterflies.
